Comedian Kapere who had his time at Miracle Church in Rubaga when he got born again, has spoken out about the deal he had with Pastor Robert Kayanja.
The comedian who recently said that he went to the church because his child was sick, left the moment the child got well and he got a free wedding from the church.
Speaking about his secret deal with Kayanja so that he would stay in church, Kapere said; ‘He promised me a brand new Benz and he said that I would be a responsible man if I got a new car. He promised me a brand new phone, I didn’t get it. Don’t talk about things you don’t know. Stop saying bad things about me.’
Kapere then thanked Kayanja for everything he has done for him. ‘I want to thank Kayanja for giving me suits to change my appearance. I thank him for the wedding he did for me. People got to know about my wedding because of him.’
Then Kapere revealed that Kayanja never gave him anything; ‘You say that you paid rent for me for 1 whole year. Bring a receipt to show that you paid it. You never gave me any money. If you gave it to anyone to pay for me, I never saw the money. You also say that you give me food every day, but where is that food? I am not saying this in bad faith but I want to talk the truth. You are like my father, how can you come out and say that you have helped me when you have done nothing. I have not said anything bad about you.’
On why he left Miracle Center, here is what he said; ‘I left the church because people were fighting me. There is alot of hatred in your church. That is why I left. How could I leave a palace that had everything without reason. I have children, I wake up everyday to go and work so that they can have a good life. You said that you give me money and I take waragi but this is not true.’
