Following their show at Wash and Wheels hotel in Mbale, the comedian from Ombokolo, Salvado and his fellow crackers decided to tour the night life of the Bamasaba people of Mbale.
In company of Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi and Richard Twangye together with other comedians, they went to El Tangyi, the one and only club in Mbale.
The group sat in the VIP section of the club and coloured their table in all brands of liquor.
Salvado and his friends were having a good time in Mbale, and enjoying the warm reception. Salvado even managed to get access to the DJ’s booth were he grabbed the micro phone and engaged the revelers by singing different nursery songs on a dance hall beat.
At around 1:00am a bouncer approached Salvador who was seating with his friends and this erupted into a bitter verbal exchange between Salvado and the bouncer who was later joined by eight more bouncers who surrounded Salvado. This writer who was seated next to where the comedians managed to ask one of the bouncers what was happening. The bouncer claimed the comedian was seated on the arms of the sofa set which would damage the new club chairs (in relation to the comedians weight).
In the middle of the heated exchange, a seemingly drunk Salvado stood up and pushed the bouncer who staggered backwards and almost fell. The bouncer charged back but he and Salvador were separated by the other bouncers and fellow crackers.
Immediately after the scuffle Salvado and his buddies moved out of the club to an unknown destination.
