Ugandan Comedian Hebert Ssegujja Mendo also known as Teacher Mpamiire, who is currently in the US for a comedy tour, will be hosted by internationally renowned veteran Journalist Shaka Ssali on his Straight Talk Africa show, a Voice of America (VOA) live broadcast show to Africa.

“We are thrilled to announce that the fast rising star of Teacher Mpamire will be live on the program scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th, 2015, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Saving Time (1830 UTC) in Washington, DC,” VOA posted on social media.

The program will focus on “African Diaspora Comedy and Political Satire” taking a closer look at how the combination of humor and political analysis brings laughter or activism among the political landscape on the continent depending on the content and the intent of the satirist.

This will be a big achievement for Comedian Mendo to have platform on such an international channel whose programs can be seen and heard on more than 50 radio and television stations in Africa, and around the world.
