Comedian Bright Onak night out yesterday was abruptly cut short after he was rounded up along with Laftaz boss Jonathan and thrown on the back of the police patrol truck.
According to an eyewitness, Bright Onak who bid farewell to his friends after his weekly comedy show at Laftaz lounge rammed into a police truck as he reversed his car to drive off. This sparked off his woes on the evening.
When Onak was ordered out of his car, he stubbornly refused to heed to the police officer’s call and a scuffle ensued as he was forcefully got out. However, he was eventually overpowered by the beefed up police officers and thrown onto the police patrol truck.
Efforts by his friends to intervene on his behalf yielded nothing. In the process, the already irked police officers also arrested Laftaz boss Jonathan for trying to block the Police from carrying out their activities.
Comedian Onak was arrested for resisting arrest among other things and his car was also towed to police.
