By BigEyeUg Team; The trendy ‘Nansana’ phrase heats-up for the second week on social media as other Ugandan localities continue foot fun about it.
Fabled local comedian Amooti Omubalanguzi can’t take it anymore seeing his residential area, Nansana being bashed on social media without reasonable motive.
In a live Facebook session, Amooti has taken up the initiative as an aspiring MP of Nansana to warn all tormentors to keep off the locality.
Da New Amarula Family CEO is devasted by people who reside in other areas like Makindye, Najeera, Ntinda, among others pilling funny insults about Nansana without consideration of it being one of the most developed areas around Kampala City.
Amooti is also disappointed by his fellow celebrities who are also Nansana residents like; Pastor Wilson Bugembe, MC Mariachi, MC Kapale, comedian Kabaata for distancing from this concern of defending their locality as its being demeaned.
“I would like to take this opportunity as an aspiring MP of Nansana to put condemn the current social media trend of disrespecting my area.
Its disgusting for people living in other areas like Makindye, Najjeera, Ntinda to make fan of Nansana.
Am also shocked after my fellow Nansana residents like; Pastor Wilson Bugembe, MC Mariachi, MC Kapale, comedian Kabaata, abandoning defense for their area,” said Amooti.
Nansana is one of the fast-growing towns in the Central Region of Uganda.
It is located in the Wakiso District and is one of the five municipalities in the district.
Apparently, Nansana is being made fun of in regard to development, human ideology, lifestyle, among others.
