Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) emerged as a multiple award winner at the Brand Africa 100 Uganda Awards, securing four accolades that recognise excellence, consumer admiration, and impactful contributions to society.

Held at the Kampala Serena hotel, the awards reaffirmed the company’s status as one of the most trusted and respected brands in Uganda and across Africa.

CCBU, a company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, was named the Most Admired Brand in Uganda, an award that underscores the company’s consistency in delivering high-quality products while maintaining a strong connection with consumers. This recognition reflects the enduring strength of CCBU’s brand equity and its ability to remain relevant in a dynamic marketplace.

Rwenzori Pure Natural Mineral Water, a brand in CCBU’s portfolio, was celebrated as the Most Admired Ugandan Brand in the Non-Alcoholic Beverage Category. A symbol of purity and national pride, Rwenzori has earned consumer loyalty through its commitment to quality and trust, making it a household name that Ugandans deeply identify with.

In addition, CCBU received the award for Most Admired Brand Contributing to a Better Africa, recognising the company’s purpose-driven approach to business. This distinction highlights its long-term investments in doing business the right way, and inclusive growth initiatives that extend far beyond the commercial arena.

CCBU was also honored as the Most Admired Brand Doing Good for Society and the Environment. The accolade reflects the company’s efforts to lead in environmental, social and governance (ESG) and business standards, to drive sustainable growth and societal progress.

Commenting on the awards, Kirunda Magoola, Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability Director at CCBU, said Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda inspires excellence and sets the standard as Africa’s most respected and admired company, fostering growth, innovation, and impact across the continent.

“These awards reaffirm our mission of creating shared value for our business, our people, and our communities.” He noted.

The Brand Africa 100 Awards, established in 2010, celebrate brands that inspire admiration and deliver impact across the continent. They are based on consumer insights and highlight not only commercial success but also trust, loyalty, and societal contribution.
