The Pearl of Africa, Uganda has once again been recognized as a top tourist destination in the world. CNN named Uganda among the top destinations for next year.
According to CNN’s travel writer, Anisha Shah, Uganda has much more than what people see every day. “There’s much more to Uganda. Rich in nature, it’s an outdoor sanctuary of crater lakes, white-sand beaches on lake islands, thundering waterfalls and national parks,” she said.
The recent Pope’s visit was also revealed as one of the factors which will lead to the sprouting of the tourism sector in the coming years.
A senior reporter also revealed that apart from Mountain gorillas which are the main attraction in Uganda, many more countryside activities will become visible with time.
