We have learnt that Club Silk could close as soon as the festive season is done. It has emerged that the club management has decided to close the club for renovations after the festive season.

Our source has told us that the club is losing employees at a terrible speed for unpaid salaries. “There is massive exodus of employee at Club Silk due to unpaid salaries of over five months,” the source revealed.

Revelers enjoy a night out at Club Silk.

It is alleged that the new manager Connie Akambikira is running the club with an iron hand and has refused to pay employees forcing some to voluntarily quit.

Insiders further reveal that Connie has not spared some top managers including Steven Kavuma who has been left powerless. This comes just months after Connie fired two of the club’s longest serving employees-Public relations Officer Linda Lisa and DJ Alberto.

Meanwhile, Silk is set to close according to sources, so party at Silk while it still lasts.
