Watching the uncut edition of NTV’s talent search initiative, Talent XP that replaced hot steps, a dance competition, I appreciated the efforts of judges turning down clowns and star struck fans masquerading as competitors at the earliest opportunity. They deserve a hand clap. Clap! Clap!
The panel of Bebe Cool, Jackie Chandiru and the other guy who dresses like a wealthy kadongo kamu artiste are doing a great job!
If you watched the uncut edition of Fort Portal talent auditions, its clear that most hopefuls only dressed to impress the judges. However a huge belt does not compliment vocal range.
Perhaps it is because most of them are high school kids hoping to make it big without facing UNEB, may be!
The talent show portrays the people’s perspective of the celebrity world. It is not fashion or singing a judge’s song that makes you tick. No wonder that corporate companies find a big business in it!
