Muslims world over have today ushered in the month of Ramadhan. Musician Cindy took to social media to welcome her fans into the new month which is characterised by fasting.
She posted: “I can’t spend a day without eating food so I salute all Muslims and I wanna wish them a successful fasting season.”
Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the month during which Muslims observe fasting from morning twilight to the evening twilight. It is observed by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad according to Islamic belief.
