Cindy Sanyu has reflected on her early connection with Sheebah Karungi, revealing that she recognized Sheebah’s star potential long before she rose to fame.
Cindy disclosed that she was the one who penned Sheebah’s first song, driven by the belief that the younger artist was destined for stardom.
“This is why I wrote her first song, because I saw the potential. I could see that she was a star. I knew that it was inside of her. I knew it, and that is why I wrote the song,” Cindy explained.
Despite the public differences and rivalry that played out between the two over the years, Cindy revealed that their relationship has since settled into a peaceful space.
She clarified that being “good” with someone does not necessarily mean being close friends, but rather being able to interact respectfully and calmly when in the same space.
“Yeah, we are good. Sometimes you do not need to be good to the level of sitting together. You just have to be good enough to sit in a room and be able not to scream at each other, but speak calmly to each other,” she added.
