Ugandan music star Cindy Sanyu has responded to the ongoing discussion about her upcoming concert falling on the same date as fellow artist Dax Vibez’s show.
Dax Vibez had earlier announced that his concert will take place on August 29, 2025, at Hotel Africana.
However, Cindy later released her concert date, which is also scheduled for August 29, causing mixed reactions from fans and the public.
Speaking to the media, Cindy clarified that she was unaware of Dax Vibez’s concert plans when she picked her date.
“I didn’t know about Dax Vibez’s concert until after releasing my concert date,” Cindy explained.
She also addressed concerns that the clash might affect both events. Cindy said that if Dax is uncomfortable with the date, he should feel free to make changes.
“If he’s scared of sharing concert dates with me, he can postpone,” she advised.
The date conflict has sparked debate among music lovers, with some calling for unity in the industry and others taking sides.
Despite the clash, both artists remain confident in their fan support. It remains to be seen whether any of them will adjust their plans.
