Singer Cindy Sanyu has spoken out following the unexpected cancellation of fellow artist Dax Vibez’s upcoming concert, which was scheduled to take place on August 29 at Hotel Africana.

The news was confirmed by Dax Vibez himself over the weekend, though the exact reasons for the cancellation remain unclear.

Coincidentally, the cancelled show was set to happen on the same day as Cindy’s highly anticipated concert at Millennium Park in Lugogo.

Reacting to the development, Cindy said she had only recently learned about the cancellation and expressed genuine sympathy for Dax Vibez and his team.

“Why did they cancel it? That’s sad. I feel for him after all the efforts he had put in, that’s terrible,” she said. “I send my heartfelt words to him—so sorry to him and his team.”

Cindy emphasized the emotional and financial toll that such abrupt changes can have on an artist, especially after putting in significant work to plan and promote a show.
