Ugandan singer Cindy Sanyu has revealed that fellow artist Sheebah Karungi supported her during her pregnancy, despite their current differences.
Speaking during a live TikTok session, Cindy described Sheebah as a kind-hearted person, emphasizing that their fallout was caused by other issues.
For nearly three years, the two musicians have been known as rivals, with their disagreements extending to their fan bases—Cindy’s “Cindicates” and Sheebah’s “Sheebaholics.”
Despite their past connection, tensions between them escalated, leading to one of the biggest musical battles in Uganda’s history in 2023.
Sheebah has previously acknowledged Cindy as one of her mentors in the music industry. However, this did not prevent them from engaging in the high-profile competition that showcased their talent and dominance in Uganda’s entertainment scene.
While their differences remain, Cindy’s revelation highlights a moment of goodwill between the two artists, proving that despite public rivalries, personal acts of kindness can still be remembered.
