Multi-genre singer, Cindy Sanyu has finally revealed how she managed to hold a successful concert. She says that it was all about God.
During her visit at Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s church (The Worship House, Kampala) last weekend, Cindy revealed the main reason behind her ‘Boom Party’ concert success was God.
Cindy testified before the simple congregation how God miraculously made her concert a successful one beyond majority of the public’s expectations.
Prior, she narrated why one of her ‘A Night with Cindy’ shows in 2017 was a total flop.
She believes all was because of her misinterpretation of her dignity and unfaithfulness towards God.
“When I did my first concert, I didn’t pray as much because I felt like my life was not correct with God. I felt like I had gone away so far, so I was scared to pray. I just lightly asked him for a simple help but this time when I did this concert I tried to do everything right into the Boom Party Concert and I prayed. I said God help me, if you can come through for me this time, I will give you the glory. In the TVs and Radios they didn’t give me the chance but here I get to tell you that the power is all in God’s hands,” Cindy said.
She ascertained her milestone to be as a result of a 3 days constant prayer and fasting that her hubby, Prynce Okuyo Joel Atiku.
“My fiancée is a very prayerful man, so he was helping me to pray and I remember him saying; Cindy for what you want to do, you need to fast. I fasted for 3days. Am not a foody person but fasting is not easy. But I said I really need this, so me and my fiancée fasted despite me having a tight schedule of media tours,” she added.

On March 7th 2020, Cindy set a record as the first female musician to hold a concert at Cricket Oval and reaping success out of it.
In due course of her concert preparations, many fabled promoters opted to shun her show after mounting fear that it would be a flop.
These believed that Cindy’s choice of such a huge venue was motivated by her ego not money as most musicians.
In fact, others suggested she was taking it as an advantage to prove her strong music nemesis by then, Sheebah Karungi that she is second to none when it comes to top female artists in Uganda.
