Uganda’s music industry has continued to maintain its relevancy in the East African region, and as such more artistes from the region seek to do songs with Ugandan artistes.
According to reports, Rwandan Afro beat singer, Kid Gaju is in the country to work on a music project with Cindy Sanyu. The two singers are working on both the audio and video of the song titled “Gahunda”.
Cindy now joins other several Ugandan artistes like Fille, Radio and Weasel that have also had similar music projects with Rwandan artistes.
Rwanda’s music industry is perhaps the youngest in the region and Rwandan artistes are trying so hard to diversify their industry by reaching out to seemingly more established musicians in the region in an effort to broaden their fan base. It’s no surprise that in the recent past we have seen more Rwandan artistes seeking to team up with Ugandan artistes on their music projects. It’s a trend that is growing steadily and don’t expect to die out anytime soon.
