For the second time, Chronixx brought his reggae revival movement all the way to Sheraton Uganda.
Talent Africa did everything possible to have the smoothest of an event. It was clear right from the entrances that there were no hurdles to be faced. Security was reinforced to the brim as regular and VIP revellers united by great music.
Before Chronixx hit the stage; it was Maddox performing his classics and cementing his position as the god of reggae in Uganda.
Chameleone had earlier joined Weasel on stage. Nina Roz, Vampino and Rabadada were some of the other performers of the time albeit the sound glitches.
A few minutes past 10pm, Chronixx hit the stage under deafening cheers.
He started off with; “Here comes Trouble” before going into a rollercoaster.
He performed Roots and Chalice, reminded the youths not to give up. He splashed up with Smile Jamaica, a bit of Majesty.
Skankin sweet got the crowds high, just like they don’t know.
It was all crowned a few minutes past midnight with the “Legend” song. For it was his thank-you message to all who made it.
The crowds were clearly overhelmed by the performance yet wished it could go on till the end of time.
