Princess Komuntale’s ex-hubby Christopher Thomas, who is currently facing assault charges, has denied battering his new girlfriend identified as Gloria Kabila.
In a statement recorded at Katwe police station, Gloria indicated that Thomas beat her up in the wee hours of Saturday morning after she returned home from partying with no money left in her purse and decided to use part of his money to clear the cab guy that she had hired. Gloria also told police that Thomas demanded to have intercourse with her on that very night and when she refused, he assaulted her but the Duke has denied all these allegations.
He was later released on bond after being interrogated for hours and advised to keep reporting to the station till the investigations into their matters are done.
It should be noted that Thomas is a US national who returned to Uganda to do cosmetics business late last year and has been involved in different scandals since his return that may see him deported if he doesn’t revise his behaviors.
