In the wake of rumours that musician Chris Evans Kaweesi was clobbered by thieves who drove off with his car because he had gone to see a woman in the wee hours of the night on Tuesday night, the singer’s mother has come out in his defence.
Chris Evans who is currently at the mothers place has decided to remain silent about rumours that he is a womanizer and those that he is dead. But his family (Mother and sister) have decided to take on anyone who spreads false rumours about their boy.
‘They should also stop saying that he is a womanizer because he doesn’t go around sleeping with every woman. We all know him and he is not into those things. Even when women come he chases them away. How can they say that he had gone to see a woman at night? And those saying that he is dead should stop because he is alive. Don’t wish him death,’ said the mother shortly before Evans sister supported her in an interview.
Rumours have been making rounds that the singer was beaten because of a woman. The woman who apparently lives in Nansana is another man’s wife but Evans allegedly decided to encroach.
Evans in a four day bed rest as he waits for his wounds to heal so that he can resume work.
