Former love Chris Brown is alleged to have got back in contact with the Diamond’s singer, and is swapping texts with the star.
Brown has reportedly been wooing the 26-year-old singer again, now he’s out of rehab after a 90-day stint.
According the gossip website PageSix.com, the R&B star Brown, whose girlfriend is model Karrueche Tran, is keen to rekindle a romance despite rumours that Rihanna has been growing increasingly close to rapper Drake after they performed and partied in Paris.
Pagesix.com reported: ‘Chris started texting Rihanna on her birthday [Feb. 20], and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since.’
The source added: ‘Rihanna didn’t write back right away . . . but later that night she started getting sentimental and texted back, ‘thank you,’ and asked how he was.’
‘Since then, the two haven’t stopped texting each other and friends are freaked out that she’s going to start dating him again.’
Brown infamously assaulted Rihanna in 2009, but the pair reportedly engaged in an on-again-off-again relationship when a restraining order against Brown expired in 2011.
But Rihanna has been setting the rumour-mill into overdrive with her flirty antics this week with Drake.
The relationship between Rihanna and Drake went a gear after the rapper brought the sexy singer onto the stage while he was performing his Would You Like A Tour stop in Paris.
The singer performed Pour It Up and their 2012 hit, Take Care on Tuesday night. It was particularly momentous as it’s the first time the two have performed Take Care together live.
Mobo reports that the pair got hot and steamy on stage in front of 17,000 fans and grinded up against one another as Rihanna flirted heavily with the artist.
Romance aside, Rihanna is clearly a huge fan of Drake’s work as she was later spotted in the crowd dancing along to his famous song, Started From The Bottom.
