Dancehall singer A Pass has come out to tell fans that there is a champion inside everyone. This comes after Uganda finally ended their 39-year jinx in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Uganda defeated Comoros 1-0 in their final Group D game in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers on Sunday to finally secure a slot at Africa’s biggest football tournament in Gabon next year. Farouk Miya scored the lone goal that handed Uganda victory.
Speaking about the milestone, A Pass wrote on social media: “There are moments when you think you won’t survive. And then you survive. So don’t be scared. You have strength within you and your strength will not come from lifting weights but from lifting yourself up when you have been knocked down. You can do this Champ. #KeepTheHustle #StayFocused #UgandaCranes”
