Chameloene seems to have finally caved in following immense pressure from fans after he decided to publicly make his political affiliations known. This was after the “Wale Wale” singer endorsed President Museveni for another term in office with the release of the all-star song dubbed “Tubonga Nawe”.
The song was received with widespread criticism from his fans who bashed the singer for being a puppet and painting a lopsided picture of society when apparently all is not well with the populace.
In a bid to clear his name, Chameleone will make his first appearance on national TV in a very long time. He will today appear on NTV’s popular The Beat show hosted by Douglas Lwanga.
He announced his appearance: “Just another one. Let Everybody Be who they want to be. As much as I am a Musician by profession, That doesn’t take away my rights as a Ugandan Citizen. I am so respectful of your opinions. Do the same for me and every one. Well……. Catch me on NTV Uganda today 5pm.”
