Sad news reaching our desk indicate that Daniella Atim, the wife to Uganda’s finest musician Dr Jose Chameleone has lost his dad Fr. John Scalabrini.
Fr. John has reportedly passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer.
Father John Scalabrini of Bbina Church will be remembered for transforming many people’s lives in Luzira. He built schools, a hospital, a football stadium and had started on setting up a university but unfortunately has passed away before seeing his dream come true.
He is also remembered for rescuing Jose Chameleone from Tanzania after he was involved in an accident some years back by sending his chopper to transport the Wale Wale star back home.
