Following the unfortunate incident in which Radio was allegedly attacked by fellow singer Pallaso, the latter has come under a lot of harsh criticism for his actions. But one person who won’t chastise his actions is his brother and arguably Uganda’s best musician Jose Chameleone.
The singer has decided not to take sides in the whole “Pallaso-Radio” saga. He claims he was not around when the whole incident transpired thus it would not be right to judge anyone.
Chameleone said in a statement that reads in part:
“Personally I am not going to judge who is right, wrong, better, best etc and I request all people speaking on my behalf to STOP Giving my opinion falsely. However, everyone knows that I wasn’t there when all this started and can’t just come in between to Judge. As a brother who wishes the best for Gudlyf, I feel sorry for all that’s happening. We have all been through hard times and challenges. All we can do now is wish them the best out of this.”
It should be noted that Radio and Pallaso were formerly Chameloene’s protégés in Leone Island crew during their early days of singing. As someone who has mentored and seen the two singers evolve musically, it’s understandable if he sits on the fence.
