Musician Jose Chameleone has been forced down memory lane after one of his fans recounted a nasty experience from back in the day. A fan identified as Chris Kobia narrated an experience in Kenya where Chameleone was booed off stage.
“In 1998, you came to Kenyatta University for Culture Week, in the company of Bebe Cool & Redsan. You had this song that had parts that sounded like a goat-bleating. Guys literally booed you off-stage and it took Bebe Cool doing a rendition of Sanchez’s song to calm the unresponsive crowd,” Chris narrated.
“Fast Forward 2015 – listening to your current high-flying album leaves me teary-eyed and motivated that giving-up ain’t an option,” he added.
Chameleone who seemed touched by the testimony acknowledged the experience.
“Thanks my brother I really appreciate your memory. So that’s the testimony. Let nobody ever tell you anything is impossible if you got the guts to pursue,” he said.
