Turns out Lucky Dube’s family want selected artistes to redo his songs, and guess who will represent East Africa? Well, you guessed right. It’s East Africa’s finest Jose Chameleone. In the new project which Jose Chameleone is part of artistes will redo songs of the late singer in a bid for his memory and music to stay fresh at a continental level.
Reports indicate that the ‘Wale Wale’ singer will be going to South Africa in a few days to meet with the project team and begin planning on how to go about the new project. According to Chameleone, this is not a financial venture but it is about remembering a legend and polishing Lucky Dube’s Legacy.
Chameleone equated the fallen singer to ex South African President, the late Nelson Mandela.
