Musician Dr. Jose Chameleone has set a new date for his highly anticipated concert dubbed “Legend: Hit after Hit”.
The “Wale Wale” star has postponed his concert to June. This comes after his concert, which was slated for 19th May at Lugogo Cricket Oval, collided with the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament.
According to a letter dated 3rd March addressed to Balaam Marketing and Promotion agency, which is in charge of organizing Chameleone’s concert, “the date booked for the Jose Chameleone music show at the Lugogo Cricket Oval shall not be available.”
“However, following discussions with the team, we wish to confirm that the function can be held on 30th June,” the letter further noted.
The concert will now be held on Friday, June 30th with subsequent shows at Colline Hotel Mukono and Freedom City on July 1st and 2nd respectively.
The Uganda Cricket Association, which maintains Lugogo Cricket Oval, will be hosting a World Cricket League game at the venue on 19th May. The 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament will take place in Uganda from 21 to 31 May 2017.
