Award winning Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone is focused on filling his award cabinet with more awards this year. Fresh from scooping a Kilimanjalo music award for best East African song–-Tubonge–two weeks back, the badilisha star is at it again. This time, Chameleone is attending the 22nd edition of the international World Music Awards happening on May 27, 2014 at Monte Carlo Sporting Club in Monaco.
“Remember at the climax of all this we shall wind down in Monte Carlo, Le Sporting Club to Raise the flags at the World Music Awards! Let’s keep voting.” He posted a reminder online.
He will be at the event after his Scandinavian music tour. Jose Chameleone is nominated in the categories of ‘Best Live Performer’ and ‘Best Male Artist’. His fellow musicians Radio and Weasel are nominated in the same awards.
“I will bring back an award or both of them” Chameleone confirmed to us. We wish him all the best.
