Jose Chameleone’s dream of owning a beach has been shattered after plans of developing his Coco beach were halted by the authorities. Coco Beach is now said to have since turned into sand mining site.
News reaching our desk indicates that National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) stopped Chameleone from developing the site into a beach, instructing him not reclaim the swamp since it is in a wetland and will cause environmental degradation if done.
This is said to have pissed off the singer and our sources have learnt that the Wale Wale star has lost morale and is even planning to sell the place since he cannot develop it into a beach.
Chameleone had planned to develop his Coco beach into a standard beach making it one of the best beaches in Uganda, to join his fellow musician Bobi Wine who owns One Love beach in Busaabala.
