Musician Jose Chameleone recently announced that he will be giving out a free flag to everyone who attends his highly anticipated “Legend: Hit after Hit” concert.

He made the announcement on social media where he posted,“We are going to wave the flags. Free Flag for everyone at the Gate.”

He has now come out to explain the rationale behind the flag. Speaking at a recent press briefing, Chameleone revealed  that he is giving out flags because the concert is aimed at celebrating Ugandan talent. He further noted that he is paying for the flags out of his pocket.

“This is a show to root my legacy and prove how Uganda talented is,” he said. “Actually, the theme for the concert is ‘For God and my country’ and that is the reason I am giving out flags.”

“I dream of a night where we are all  flying the Ugandan flag in unity,” he added.

The “Legend: Hit after Hit” concert is slated for Friday, June 30 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
