After being appointed Busoga Tourism ambassador, it was only fair that Chameleone shows up in time for the Kagulu hill climbing challenge in Busoga region, but no, he didn’t.
The event attended by several tourism dignitaries and the speaker of parliament saw H.E President Museveni donate 30 million shillings to the Kagulu project. Chameleoene who was supposed to come and entertain revelers at the hill climbing challenge was, however, nowhere to be seen at the most critical time.
The only thing one could refer to was a post he made en-route Kamuli. “As assigned by my people from eastern Uganda through the honorable speaker of parliament am in full gear of attendance alongside His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda. KAGULU here the Doctor comes.” He posted.
Word has it that the ‘Badilisha’ star opted to drink all night with his crew members at the honorable speaker’s Century hotel in Kamuli. In the morning, it rained so heavily and they couldn’t make it to Kagulu rock in time. He only arrived after most of the guests had left and waved at the crowd who grabbed him from the car and took him to the rock for a photo moment.
Chameleone then made his way back to Kampala for the Demarco show shortly after.
We only hope that he shows up in time for the next Busoga tourism initiative if he is to keep his current ambassadorial role.
