Centenary Bank takes sports to staff

Unlike other corporate team building activities that focus on sufficient relaxation, the second phase of Centenary Bank’s team building for the Central region has brought to life the theme of “Wellness at Work”.

The activities which comprised of indoor games took place at the bank’s main branch, Mapeera recently. Some of the games played included; chess, table tennis, pool and darts.

The bank’s Chief Manager HR Business Partnering, Bob Trubish, said, “The reason we decided to go in the direction of sports because it is not only a good way to blow off some steam but also one of the ways they can identify the best players at different games for the Banker’s Gala that takes place every year in October.”

“All members of staff including those who work in the various branches of the country get to participate in these activities according to the region they are located,” Trubish added.
