Centenary Bank reaches out to orphanage in Kawempe

Centenary Bank has donated a 10,000-litre water tank to Malaika Orphanage Children Foundation in Kawempe as it extends its community outreach programme in areas it operates.

“We are optimistic our donation will not only enable the children to have clean water but also have a steady supply of it. We are best known as a financial institution but through our deliberate corporate social responsibility programmes we have managed to make the lives of our customers better, beyond assisting them with financial services. We believe a healthy community, makes a healthy customer,” said Patrick Odhiambo, the Centenary Bank Bwaise branch manager, recently.

The orphanage takes care of more than 200 children.
