Wednesday, September 8, 2021was such a sorrowful day for the Ugandan entertainment fraternity to remember.
This is the day that one of the legendary pillars of the entertainment industry, Emmanuel Maseege famously known as DJ Emma Kadodi passed on.
News about CBS FM’s popular show ‘The Evening Cruise’ presenter, DJ Emma’s death first broke on social media during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to workmates, DJ Emma’s health worsened on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 evening after his show on the Mengo-based radio station.
This sparked a dire atmosphere at his home as some of his close friends cooperated to rush him to hospital.
Unfortunately, DJ Emma breathed his last upon reaching Mengo Hospital’s main gate.
It is believed the deceased has been having an on and off-battle with kidney complications.
“He got a little unwell in the night. Arrangements were made to take him to hospital but unfortunately died as they reached Mengo Hospital gate,” an employee at CBS FM revealed.
It’s said that the Bugisu land-originated DJ had been sick for the last two weeks and only returned to work on Tuesday.
Bigeye understands that DJ Emma had shown up at work again in high gear but all his passionate duties have collapsed.
