New recruit Ceaser Okhuti fired a brace as Express fc beat Lweza fc 2-1 to win the Wankulukuku derby at Muteesa II Stadium yesterday in the Azam Uganda Premier League.
Lweza came into the game on the back of a 4-0 loss to Soana fc but managed to take the lead after 10 minutes into the game when Mike Sserumaga scored.
However, the Red army once again showed resilience when Ceaser Okhuti netted an equalizer on the brink of half time before returning in the second half to claim his brace in the 74th minute of the game.
The result implies that Express fc aka ‘Mukwano Gwa Bangi’ are still unbeaten after four games and now rise top of the league summit with 8points after collecting two wins and two draws.
Lweza have now lost their second game leaving them pointless after two games and bottom of the 16 team table.
Meanwhile, at the Kakindu Stadium in Jinja, Bul fc managed to hold a Miya-less Vipers to a goalless draw.

The result leaves Vipers SC in third place but tied on 7points as second placed KCCA fc who didn’t play yesterday.
Bul fc are 13th on the log with just a single point after three games and Alex Isabirye will be hoping to pick inspiration from that result after a bad start that saw them lose the first two games to URA and SC Victoria University.
Results in Summary:
Lweza fc 1-2 Express fc
Bul fc 0-0 Vipers SC
