Golden band singer Catherine Kusasira and solo artiste Lyto Boss have today won the ‘Anjagala’ song battle in court, a case which has been prevailing for the past 5 months.
BigEyeUg understands that musician Iryn Namubiru under Fusion Records Band dragged Kusasira and Lyto Boss to court on grounds that the two connived to get money illegally by claiming that they didn’t receive payment of the ‘Anjagala’ song written by Lyto Boss. Iryn Namubiru said that she gave the money to singer Kusasira who worked as an agent to Lyto Boss in this deal.
The latest to reach our desk, however, indicates that Iryn Namubiru has lost the case to Kusasira as court dismissed the case due to absence of convincing evidence pinning the two.
A cheerful Catherine Kusasira while addressing media shortly after the court ruling noted that she has forgiven Iryn Namubiru despite having wished jail for her, before taking to social media to share the good news with her fans.
However, Lyto Boss has vowed to step up his case against Iryn Namubiru who he claims stole his song.
We will keep you posted.
