Carol Nantongo has opened up about her stance on marriage, stating she isn’t ready to take that step anytime soon.
Despite receiving numerous marriage proposals, the talented artist insists she is not yet prepared for that chapter of her life.
“I’m not ready for marriage and giving birth,” Carol shared, adding a lighthearted reason for her decision. “My mom told me it’s quite painful [giving birth], so I’m not ready for that yet.”
Carol’s remarks highlight a growing trend among female Ugandan artists who are prioritizing personal and career goals over settling down.
Recently, Spice Diana also ruled out marriage, saying that her focus is currently on her career and other priorities.
