Songbird Carol Nantongo has revealed that despite her fame and success, she too has tasted the bitter side of love.

The singer shared that her very first heartbreak came from none other than her first love, who also happened to be a musician.

“I cried a lot and pleaded with him not to leave, but he had already made up his mind,” Carol painfully recalled.

The experience, she says, left a deep scar since he was not just her boyfriend but her “first cut” and “first everything.”

Nantongo admits the breakup hit her hard and changed how she viewed relationships.

Because of that heartbreak, she swore never to date another musician again.

Her confession is a reminder that even celebrities, who often appear to have perfect lives, go through the same heartbreaks and emotional struggles as everyone else.
