Carol Atuhirwe’s body will return today, we have learnt.
According to funeral arrangements announced by the family, the body will arrive at Entebbe airport at 2pm after which it will be taken her parent’s home in Masanafu for a vigil.
A requiem mass for Carol will be held at All Saints Church Nakasero on Tuesday, and then the body transported to her ancestral home in Ibanda where she will be buried.
She will be laid to rest on Wednesday.
Carol, the cancer patient who turned into a social media sensation following the famous Save Carol campaign which was held last year, died on Thursday evening after succumbing to throat and lung cancer in India.
