cardiffLuis Suarez grabbed a hat-trick and Martin Skrtel struck twice as Liverpool twice came from behind to beat struggling Cardiff City 6-3 in the English Premier League on Saturday at Cardiff City Stadium.

Cardiff  took an early lead just after nine minutes when Joe Allen gave possession away and Campbell fed Mutch, who curled the ball into the bottom corner before Suarez hauled Liverpool level soon afterwards, applying a calm finish to a slick team move.

The home side led again through Frazier Campbell when he netted in the 25th, profited from some questionable defending from the visitors. But Martin Skrtel poked home in the 41st and put Brendan Rodgers’ men ahead for the first time in the 54th.

The Uruguayan striker added his second on the hour mark before Daniel Sturridge netted the fifth in the 75th.

Mutch grabbed a goal back on 88 minutes heading home and Suarez completed the rout and his hat-trick late in stoppage time.

The victory means Liverpool remain four points behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.
