Lately awards in Uganda have just found a way through to the top events especially in the entertainment sector. This is so true and as we speak, the leading entertainment website, bigeye.ug was nominated in the Social Media Awards and will certainly scoop the award unless otherwise.
And so in the Afrikan Fashion Walk Awards, the flashy Soroti Municipality Member of Parliament, Capt. Mike Makula has been nominated in the Male Personality class and Mawokota South congressperson, Hon. Kyambadde Amelia will also scuffle in the Female Personality over 35 years category for the 2013 Afrikan Fashion Walk Awards (AFWAs). Many other Ugandans have also been nominated in the different categories.
There are so many new categories in the 3rd AFWAs this time which go up to 12 significant categories. The nominees were announced at an event held at Kabalagla based hang out, Club Venom a few days ago where all of the names were read out.
