Former West Budama North County MP William Oketcho Odumu died today at Mulago hospital. He is the father of Capital FM’s love doctor Val. According to Ofwono Opondo, Spokesperson, Government of Uganda, Oketcho comes from a family that brought national education pride to the Jopadhola in Tororo.
He was chairperson of the parliamentary committee and man behind the Budget act which gave parliament a powerful oversight role over national resources.
May his soul rest in peace.
