Capital FM has once again set the stage for an unforgettable wedding experience with the launch of its third edition of The Big Wedding, a campaign that promises to make one couple’s dream wedding a reality.
First introduced in 2013, The Big Wedding has become a highly anticipated event, offering fully sponsored dream weddings to one lucky couple each edition.
The launch of this year’s event took place at Speke Resort Munyonyo, a breathtaking venue. This year’s edition features an impressive lineup of sponsors including Rwanda Air, Uganda Breweries, Fragolino Wines, Sarah’s Cake, Hair by Zziwa, Love and Lace Bridal Emporium, and Xcy Events.
Capital FM’s CEO, Peter Mungoma, addressed the attendees at the launch, reaffirming the station’s commitment to its listeners.
“For the last 30 years, Capital has been at the heart of creating special events and promotions that leave a lasting impact, like bringing Boys 2 Men to Uganda. We believe in celebrating the milestones in our listeners’ lives, and a wedding is one of the most significant. We’re proud to be part of that,” Mungoma said.
This year’s The Big Wedding is set to be hosted by morning show stars Lucky Mbabazi and Gaetano Kaggwa, who will keep listeners entertained and engaged as the competition unfolds.
One of the key sponsors, Sheila Tusiime, CEO of Love and Lace Bridal, expressed her excitement to be part of the campaign.
