The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon held Uganda to a goalless draw in their final international buildup match played at FUFA Technical center in Njeru, Jinja on Wednesday.
Both sides were in their final preparations for the Africa Nations Champion (CHAN) tournament that kicks off this Saturday in Kigali, Rwanda.
The match was the second buildup friendly that the Cranes hosted this week with their first being against Gabon which ended in a one-all draw at the same venue on Monday.
The visitors put Uganda quite to the test given their physical style of play. Cameroon is seeded in pool B along with DRC, Ethiopia and Angola while Mali, Zambia and Zimbabwe stand in the Cranes’ way in pool D.
Uganda leaves for Rwanda on Saturday ahead on their first fixture on 19th.
