Most Ugandans know basama for showing off their cash, spending it on booze and causing commotion when they return to Uganda every end of year for the holidays.
But things seem a bit different this year as some of them have good plans not only for themselves but also for the communities they live in.
A perfect example is The Money Team (TMT) boss, Cameron Gitawo who has revealed his Christmas plans to be about sharing and giving.
The South Africa based money bags told us that once he is in the country for Xmas, he will not waste any time in useless things but share his money with the poor.
“I plan to do charity and impact the society positively,” he said.
Last year, Gitawo and the entire TMT group paid several orphanages surprise visits with various material gifts. They even donated fees to have kids go to school and have a bright future.
We hope he keeps his promise and does the same this year.
