Uganda’s Under-20 National team, the Hippos continue with preparations for their upcoming tie against Rwanda in the CAF U-20 Qualifiers this Saturday.
The team’s head coach, Kefa Kisala, says he is happy with the manner in which the players have responded to the several training sessions conducted at Nakivubo and Lugogo.
“Training has been good and I am happy for the response in training from all the players,” Kefa Kisala who also doubles as URA’s head tactician is quoted on the federation’s website.
The development follows three buildup matches the team has played against some Azam Uganda Premier League clubs, winning two and losing one in the process. They won 2-1 and 3-1 against Express and URA football clubs respectively and lost 4-2 to KCCA F.C.
Kisala is deputized by Richard Wasswa, Arthur Kyesmiira and Daniel Kiwanuka who is the goalkeeping coach.
The team is expected to depart tomorrow morning for Rwanda aboard Rwanda Air for the first leg with the reverse fixture scheduled for 23rd April 2016 in Kampala at a venue that is yet to be revealed by the local football governing body (FUFA).
