CAF names officials for SC Villa’s Confederations Cup engagements

African football governing body, Confederation of African Football Association (CAF) has named officials that will take charge of Sports Club Villa’s engagements in the Confederations Cup this month.

The Jogoos booked a date with Zanzibar’s JKU in the first round of the continental competition after ejecting out Sudan’s Al Khartoum Al Watani on a 2-0 aggregate in the preliminary round.

The named officials are for home and away ties with Villa hosting their opponents first on March 11th at Namboole Stadium. The match officials for the first leg are from Djibouti while those for the second leg are nationals from Uganda’s Group D 2017 AFCON qualifiers opponents of Comoros.

CAF Confederation Cup (1st Round – first Leg): Sports Club Villa Jogoo (Uganda) Vs JKU S.C (Zanzibar)

Venue: Nelson Mandela National stadium, Namboole

Date: Friday, 11th March 2016 @ 4:00pm

Match Referees:

Center Referee – Souleiman Ahmed Djamal (Djibouti)

Assistant Referee 1 – Abdillahi Mahamoud Iltireh (Djibouti)

Assistant Referee 2 – Hamze Abdi Salime (Djibouti)

Reserve Referee – Djamal Aden Aden Abdi (Djibouti)

Match Commissioner – Awesi Ahmed Jumal (Somalia)

Second Leg: JKU S.C (Zanzibar) Vs Sports Club Villa Jogoo (Uganda)

Venue: At Zanzibar Town, Amaani

Date: Friday 18th March 2016

Center Referee – Ali Mohamed Adelaid (Comoros)

Assistant Referee 1 – Soulaimane Amaldine (Comoros) A
