Bwire Emanuel, one-half of the Ugandan music duo Bentiboys Africa, has been found alive after going missing for nearly a week under mysterious circumstances.

His music partner Steven, the other half of the duo, confirmed the news during a phone interview with Spark TV.
In a widely circulated clip, Bwire appears visibly weak, barely able to support himself, raising concerns about what he may have endured.
According to Steven, Bwire narrated a harrowing ordeal of being held captive by an unidentified person in a dark, enclosed space.

He was reportedly in and out of consciousness for most of the time and could not comprehend how long he had been there.
While no physical injuries were found on his body, Steven noted that an unidentified substance had been continually poured into Bwire’s nose throughout the period of his captivity.
The case has been reported to Kira Police Station, with the duo expected to return to give a full statement once Bwire is in a stable condition.
News of Bwire’s disappearance first surfaced when Steven appeared on Baba TV, expressing deep concern after his bandmate’s phone went off abruptly one afternoon and he became unreachable.
