Society has her expectations. When its a person jetting in from across the oceans, be it a celebrity or not, the expectations are overwhelming and such was the case when Jamaican reggae dancehall star arrived in town.
Treated to a hero’s welcome, soon the attention diverted to his attire, hairstyle and choice of footwear. Did they expect him to come and set trends here? Is he a model or a singer?
“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”
Some ridicule his footwear saying they belong to Jesus’ time. Others commented on the hair, labelling him malnourished. His black jumper was not spared either! Not even the shades. One was heard saying that the singer was wearing the shades at an event in Germany the previous night.
Ugandans perphaps expected him in a thousand dollar out fit.
While his outdoor wear for hot summer has become a talking point, lets not forget that he came to sing and entertain. Be There at Lugogo this evening.
