The Jamaican importing virus is fast spreading amongst Ugandan promoters. Word coming through is that Glendale Goshia Gordon aka Busy signal, a Jamaican dance hall and Reggae Maestro will come to Kampala, Uganda on the 9th of October.

Busy Signal will perform at Club Silk’s Street Jam on Independence day (October 9th, 2013) after the Industrial Area based night spot usurped a failed plan to bring him to Kampala last year.

Busy Signal is one of the leading Jamaican Artistes. He is best known for hits like; One more night, Bedroom bully―a remix of Shaba Ranks’ 90’s popular Bedroom bully hit, Missing you, Reggae music Again―currently considered one of the biggest reggae hits at the moment. Fid Dis is also one of the biggest dancehall hits at the moment.

His gig was inspired by an oversold show by fellow Jamaican Konshens and Alaine at Lugogo this month.

He had earlier been booked for concert by Eagle Productions’ Manager and “BIVULU” promoter Musa Kavuma but he was intimidated by speculators and he dropped the deal in fear of losses and lack of sponsorship.

Hopefully his concert will be as successful as the previous fellow Jamaican artistes Konshens and Alaine.
